• While you may not think it is important to consider current trends when purchasing a home for yourself, you do want to make sure that your house will appeal to the largest market segment upon resale. Thus, you do not want to purchase a home that is going to appeal only to a unique buyer or small market segment because you will have a more difficult time reselling it when you want to move to a new home.
