Kristin joined Flat Fee in 2015. Kristin originally came to Burlington in 1994 to attend the University of Vermont. After graduating from UVM, she moved to Boston to get her MBA at Northeastern University. It was while attending Northeastern that Kristin bought her first property, a condo in Boston's Fenway neigborhood. After graduating from Northeastern, Kristin returned to Burlington and took a job with Burton Snowboards. Despite moving she held onto the Boston condo and began renting it out. This was her first foray into investment property ownership. After a few years in the corporate world, Kristin decided that her passions lay elsewhere. She and her brother began acquiring additional investment properties in Burlington and started a property management company. Kristin not only managed her own properties but managed both investment properties and homeowner associations for others in the Burlington area. After having two children, Kristin decided to relinquish her daily management activities and instead focused on raising her family. Now that her children are both in school, Kristin has decided to once again pursue her passion in real estate and focus on using her knowledge and experience as a homebuyer, seller, landlord and property manager to assist clients. Kristin lives in Shelburne with her two children and in addition to real estate is passionate about skiing, traveling and tennis.
