South Hero
South Hero is located in Grand Isle County in the northwestern part of Vermont along Lake Champlain. It has a population of approximately 1,600 and a median household income of approximately $61,000. Neighboring towns include: Alburgh, Isle Lamotte and North Hero.
South Hero is part of the The Grand Isle Supervisory Union which provides K-8th grade education. There is no high school in the County so students from grades 9-12th have the choice of attending high schools in neighboring counties.
